Ann grew up in Central Illinois. She attended Patricia Stevens Career College in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1982, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. After working a few years at Third National Bank, she moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, to attend Edmondson Junior College for court reporting. She then moved back to Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked for the next 20 years at Vowell & Jennings, Inc., as a freelance court reporter. In 2006, she became a freelance court reporter with Brentwood Court Reporting Services.
Ann is in good standing with the National Court Reporters Association and the Tennessee Court Reporters Association. She holds the RPR and Tennessee LCR certifications.
Ann lives in downtown Nashville with her husband, Ron. In her free time, she enjoys walks in the park with her two English Springer Spaniels, Ella and Jazzy, attending concerts, cooking and traveling.
